Walking parades and streetcar celebrations
Try Joan of Arc, Chewbacchus, Half-Fast Walking Club or Box of Wine for a walking parade. Carnival also includes streetcar celebrations: Phunny Phorty Phellows ride a St. Charles streetcar on Twelfth Night, January 6, and Funky Uptown Krewe follows with music and decorated vinyl-record throws. Find an event in the calendar and show up along its route. To march as a member, contact the group about joining.
Plan your outing
- Distinguish a walking procession from a streetcar celebration before choosing where to watch.
- Use the calendar for the date and route. Contact the group directly if you want to participate as a member.
